![]() For many years I was afflicted with a very painful ailment called Trigeminal Neuralgia. Trigeminal Neuralgia is caused when a nerve and a blood vessel touch each other on the brain and causes an unbearable electrical shock to the face. As with any painful ailment medication is prescribed to help ease the pain. The pain became so severe that I had to be rushed to the emergency room. An emergency room doctor wanted to give me a shot of penicillin. I could not speak and motioned to my son to grab my purse as I had a Medical Emergency Health Chart that I had made for myself to help me remember important information for the nurses and doctors. I grabbed the chart and showed the doctor that I was allergic to penicillin and that a shot would have been fatal. This chart helped save my life and it is my gift to you. To your health.
